Raised in New York City surrounded by the great actors of the 60’s, Hollywood’s Premier Acting Coach John Kirby lived and breathed theatre & film from his very first breaths. Born to a successful theatre and television actor Bruce Kirby, and younger brother to the late beloved actor Bruno Kirby. At a very young age, John developed the incredible ability to quickly observe in any script: story, theme, character arch, and a unique talent to envision and give the specific help others needed, in order to deliver authentic complex performances full of tone, depth, and truthful emotion. Kirby’s keen abilities and insight into what works best for each individual actor began to appear during his teens while he was a student at Hollywood High in Los Angeles, just a young actor himself he began coaching this fellow drama students. A few short years later The John Kirby Studio was born after his former classmates, private acting clients, and other industry professionals urged him to begin teaching group classes.
